The data in the AP-HP health data warehouse (EDS APèHP) are made available to researchers in the form of relational databases in OMOP format. To carry out a research project on such a database requires to perform many data manipulations such as complex joins between tables, manipulations that are often the reflection of methodological biases. These data manipulations are often similar from one project to another and the objective of the Scikit-EDS project is to initiate an open-source library co-developed with the EDS community and which allows to mutualize these developments and to facilitate the reproducibility of analyses.
